True North is based on a lens of ignorance i.e. an ignorant way to look at things.

This lens was made to reflect the wrongs that people commit by being ignorant and uninterested in the world around them; only truly paying attention to themselves and what affects them.

 

This compass mirror is supposed to reflect what true north means to people who are self important and uninterested in where they are really going. Hence the compass mirror's modo: "You are your True North"

I made this product using acrylic sheets and laser cutting.
