These Pitch emails were made in my Writing course for Strategic Communications.

The goal of this assignment was to raise awareness for The Black and Missing Foundation through an event hosted by Hope Without Boundaries 5k by writing 3 Pitch emails to 3 different individuals from a print publication, a blog or online publication, and a TV or Radio outlet. Students also had to plan out the tools that each of the 3 individuals are asked to use when raising awareness for the Foundation. Media strategy, rationale, PR tools, Distribution plan, timing and methodology, and back-up plan is included with these Pitch emails.

For this assignment I chose to email Cheryl W. Thompson from the Washington Post, Alicia Tenise from her travel and lifestyle blog, and Carl Willis from ABC7 WJLA.
