This is a series of posters I created for an Indie band called VERITE. I wanted to capture the artists aesthetic through referencing the days of VHS tapes. I gave these posters a "90's-esque" treatment, calling back old static-y televisions , to deliver a nostalgic and melancholic feeling. I used a VCR font face to give the viewer a sense that they are looking at old concert video tapes, as if they used Sony cam-quarters. I also warped the levels a bit to make it seem like the camera's RGB filter was a little off, giving it layered, "dizzy-ing" effect.
